ORLEANS – An automatic fire alarm likely prevented a major blaze in Orleans. Firefighters were called to 20 Haywarn Lane sometime around 7:30 AM Monday morning to discover an apparent electrical fire in the ceiling. According to reports an outlet for the heating system malfunctioned. The fire was quickly put out and no injuries were reported.
