We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Now we’re asking you and your family (friends, colleagues, etc) to considering sponsoring this family.
If you would like to sponsor this family, please read the description below and fill out the form.

This mother and daughter have overcome much adversity including the passing of their husband/dad just over one year ago. They continue to be treated for grief and loss. The daughter recently moved off to college but continues to cope with sadness, health challenges, the fear of leaving mom alone and anxiety with new people and places. She is an honor roll student with a promising future. Mom struggles with health issues and has undergone numerous surgeries. Mom has not lived alone in over 30 years, is experiencing empty-nest syndrome but is a cheerleader for her daughter going off and pursuing her college dreams. Child #1: 19-year-old female, just off to college and working through adjusting to school, being away from Mom, continuing to process grief from loss of father and very much missing her cats who she has never been without. She would love black leggings in size large, sweaters in XL in white, black or grey (no crop tops), ankle socks any color and rain jacket in black XL. She would really appreciate gift cards to Amazon, Door Dash, Target or Walmart .A Petsmart card would be awesome as well as mandala coloring books and markers. Parent #1 Mom: Daughter would love to give mom some cleaning supplies. Candles (lavender and Christmas scents, Hot Chocolate scent from Bath and Body works is Mom’s favorite) Mom also loves Bare Vanilla perfume/body mist from Victoria Secret. Badly needed is a gift card toward repairs for Mom’s car.
