BOURNE – A fully-involved car fire temporarily stopped traffic on the Bourne Bridge this morning.
The blaze occurred in the area of the Bourne Bridge Rotary at around 10:00.
No injuries were reported.
This is the second time a car caught fire on the roundabout since the Massachusetts Department of Transportation began an upgrade project. MassDOT paused the project for the summer when school let out on Friday.
