Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for the public to meet with your police officers in a comfortable environment and talk about any subject — all done in an informal setting to discuss community issues and build relationships. Unfortunately, law enforcement interactions may occur during emergencies or situations not conducive to just talking.
We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns, discuss them or simply get to better know one of your officers.
We view these interactions as a guiding principle in the foundation of community engagement and partnership.
You bring the questions, talk with your officer, and you get a free cup of coffee on us.
On this day, more than 1,500 law enforcement agencies in all 50 states and 5 countries plan to participate in this movement.

PROVINCETOWN – This Wednesday is the 4th Annual National Coffee with a Cop day….
On this day we will join other departments on Cape Cod by participating in this event.
The next installment in our Coffee with a Cop series is scheduled for Wednesday October 02, 2019 from 7:30am to 10:30am at the following locations.

WELLFLEET – There will be three Coffee with a Cop events in Wellfleet on October 2nd. The events will be held at Dunkin’ 2393 Route 6 from 8 AM to 10 AM, at the Flying Fish Cafe at 29 Briar Lane from 7;30 AM to 9 AM, and at Cumberland Farms at 2586 Route 6 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM.
EASTHAM – Please join some of Easthams Finest for national “Coffee With A Cop” day on Wednesday, October 2 from 8:00-10:00 AM!
This national event allows our officers to strike conversation with our citizens while allowing the citizens to get to know the officers on a personal level.
We will have an officer posted at the Hole In One donut shop, Dunkin’, and at Cumberland Farms! So please join us for a cup of coffee, a conversation, and a smile!
BREWSTER – Join Brewster Police in celebrating National Coffee with a Cop Day with Dunkin this Wednesday, October 2nd from 8:30am-10:30am at 15 Lower Road in Brewster. Sit down with some of our officers and enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation!
CHATHAM – Chatham Police are participating in National Coffee with a Cop Day. Their event will be held on Wednesday at 8 AM at the Cumberland Farms at 678 Main Street in Chatham.
HARWICH – Harwich Police are participating in National Coffee with a Cop Day. Their event will be held on Wednesday at 8 AM at the Cumberland Farms at 578 Main Street in Harwich Port.
YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police are participating in National Coffee with a Cop Day. Their event will be held on Wednesday at 8 AM at the Cumberland Farms at 626 Main Street in West Yarmouth.
BARNSTABLE – National Coffee with a Cop day is October 2nd. Please join members of the BPD at the Cumberland Farms on West Main St Hyannis from 8am to 9am and at the Dunkin Donuts in the Windmill Plaza, Cotuit, from 8am to 10am for coffee and conversation!
MASHPEE – Please join Mashpee Police for Coffee with a Cop next week! We will be at Starbucks in the Mashpee Commons on Tuesday, October 1st from 08:00-10:00 AM and at the Dunkin’ Donuts in South Cape Village on Wednesday, October 2nd from 08:00-10:00 AM. We look forward to seeing you!
SANDWICH – Join Sadnwich Police for National Coffee with a Cop Day on 10/2/19!! We will be at Dunkin Donuts 290 Route 130 from 8-10 am. Hope to see you there!
