UNDATED – A college football star with ties to Cape Cod could be playing his final football game of any kind Saturday night.
Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Kyler Murray will lead the Oklahoma Sooners in their semi-final playoff matchup with Alabama in the Orange Bowl.
Murray played in 16 games for the Harwich Mariners in the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2017.
Murray, who is just a junior, has signed to play for the Oakland Athletics after getting drafted in the first round of this year’s MLB draft.
