BOSTON – Susan Sard Tierney, a Probate and Family Court Judge assigned to the Suffolk Division, has been nominated by Governor Charlie Baker to be assigned to the Probate and Family Court in Barnstable.
Judge Tierney had been a practicing attorney in Barnstable before being nominated to the bench in May of 2017. “Judge Tierney has been a great addition to the probate and family court bench,” said Governor Baker. “I am confident the Court will continue to be strengthened by her service and dedication to justice for families.”
Judicial nominations are subject to the advice and consent of the Governor’s Council.
