EAST DENNIS – Around 6:25 p.m. Wednesday a Nissan Leaf and a Ford Focus collided at the intersection of Route 6A and Airline Road.
The airbags in both vehicles deployed and Dennis Fire Rescue transported two people to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries that were not considered life threatening. Two people declined treatment.
Both vehicles sustained front-end damage. Dennis firefighters mitigated fluid spills with absorbent material.
Route 6A was closed in both directions until the vehicles could be removed by Silver Cloud Towing.

Route 6A was reopened shortly after 7 p.m.
The Dennis Police Department is investigating.
