The Brewster Ladies’ Library will be hosting a workshop on sign language for children’s literacy with Dr. Marilyn Daniels. Dr. Daniels is an authority in the field of sign language for hearing children and babies. This workshop is for parents, parents-to-be, or other interested adults, to show them how signing can improve children’s literacy. Dr. Daniels’ techniques have been especially popular with children who have special needs. Dr. Daniels will be teaching signing to adults who want to work with children.
