Mastersingers by the Sea: Spring - A Season of Renewal

The Mastersingers by the Sea Chamber chorus accompanied by musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Dr. David MacKenzie will perform their Spring concert entitled “Spring - A Season of Renewal”. The program will be held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Falmouth and will include: WILLIAM BOYCE: Overture No. 7 in G Major J. S. BACH: Mass in G Major BWV 236 VIVALDI: Violin Concerto in E Major, “Spring” from “The Four Seasons” with Guest Artist Jesse Holstein, violin MOZART: Adagio and Fugue in C, K.546 GWYNETH WALKER: The Great Trees (2009) Audience members are invited to a reception immediately following the performance. Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at http://www.mastersingersbythesea.org, at Eight Cousins Bookstore in Falmouth or Market Street Bookshop in Mashpee, or by calling 508-540-4732. Tickets at the door are $25 or $10 for students under age 18.
