Kick off planting season at the 31st Annual Herb Festival, which offers an extensive plant sale of herbs, perennials, wildflowers, everlastings, annuals and veggies. A herb luncheon is served on Friday with reservations required. On Saturday and Sunday, special gardening programs are scheduled free to all plus soil testing for your home garden. The plant sale takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday with all proceeds helping to support the environmental education programs of the Thornton W. Burgess Society and its Green Briar Nature Center.
